REPORTS DIRECTLY FROM PRACTICE
In these brief and intense presentations, terminal planers and operators will showcase their solutions to the daily challenges:
TwinSim – service Values based on Eurogate’s Digital Twin project:
Eurogate together with University Hamburg and AKQUINET will build a digital twin from the scratch. Raw data from Equipment and TOS will be sent to the 'data lake' and pre-processed for further analysis and KPI presentation. Service Values will be generated out of this by AI based optimisation and simulation based analytics.

Meet Patrick Bol, a container terminal executive with over 25 years of experience. Throughout his career, he has challenged the status quo and has been involved in various projects, including the first automated container terminal in Delta Sealand. Patrick has also been instrumental in DP World's adoption of semi-automated terminals and STS cranes, as well as implementing innovation and customization in port expansion and special projects.
More information about the report will be available soon.
06:15 pm - 07:00 pm (CET)
We will close the event with a virtual get-together. All speakers will stand ready to answer questions in our Q&A-session. Let us talk about the challenges of the last months, our personal experiences and have a look into our expectations and goals for this year.
QUOTING OUR FORMER PARTICIPANTS
Great! This is what collaboration does. As opposed to the past way of working in our industry, we need to help and guide each other in the same direction in order to gain the benefits of digital integration. Regardless of terminals being commercial competitors, digitization requires we work together.
Thank you for the fascinating presentation and stimulating meeting. Have a nice day!
Thank you all the speakers for putting in your efforts and getting this session to us was really informative one with regards to emulation.
