AKQUINET receives funding for innovative projects in port logistics

Hamburg/Bremerhaven (Germany). AKQUINET's port and terminal sector is active in numerous innovative projects. Two have now been funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research through the Research Allowance Act. Both projects aim to increase efficiency and sustainability in port logistics.

Hybrid tests: real AGVs drive in a virtual scenario

Busan (South Korea)/Hamburg (Germany). The Busan New Port with its state-of-the-art port facilities at six terminals is a flagship project in the technology country of Korea. The last terminal and also the first fully automated terminal in Korea has now been opened. Hybrid tests for horizontal transport with AGVs were carried out in advance.
