Hamburg (Germany). August 25th, 2020. With the virtual terminal solution CHESSCON users can optimize the planning and optimization of ports and terminals. More than 21 terminal operators worldwide use the various CHESSCON modules to improve their processes. Now AKQUINET is offering an Online User Event for the first time on October 29, 2020.
"This year has brought so much change to our industry due to the impact of Corona and many previously unthinkable and also unpredictable challenges for terminal operators. With CHESSCON we can help in a particular way to better deal with this situation in terms of planning," says Prof. Dr. Holger Schütt, managing director of the port business division at AKQUINET, explaining the motives for the new event.
After a warm welcome, the keynote will be held by Götz Anspach von Bröcker, Key Account Manager at Airbus Defence & Space. He will focus on the question what aerospace and container terminals have in common. The participants can also expect an overview of the CHESSCON features and get the latest updates. Several customers will report how they use CHESSCON family and which experiences they have made with the these optimization and planning tools.
"We want to set up the event providing enough time for users to exchange information and experiences with each other, in order to share their experiences directly and do some networking, too" explains Holger Schütt, looking forward to the event.
The Online CHESSCON User Event will take place on Thursday, 29 October 2020 at 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm (SGT).
