From June 13-15, AKQUINET will present CHESSCON Live View, an application of its industry solution for the port and terminal sector CHESSCON. Lieve View provides a 3D view with all the terminal's machinery and container inventory information based on real-time data. The resulting "digital twin" provides an intuitive overview and proactive planning. At TOC, AKQUINET will offer an insight into CHESSCON Live View at booth G70.
"CHESSCON Live View creates a digital twin for the terminal. This gives operators an intuitive overview of all operational areas of the entire terminal," explains Oliver Jelsch, Sales Manager of the Ports & Logistics Sector at AKQUINET. First presented at TOC EUROPE 2022, CHESSCON Live View is now already in use. The manufacturer reports on the experiences and presents the solution in detail.
CHESSCON Live View is more than "just" a 3D display of the entire equipment and vehicles
CHESSCON Live View first reads out the container inventory and information on the entire machinery and equipment status from a database, e.g. a TOS. Any change in the condition of the equipment and yard inventory is immediately reported to the system. Via an online connection to the containers data, which can have an unlimited number of attributes, the second-by-second ACTUAL comparison is performed. From this, CHESSCON Live View provides a highly detailed and realistic 3-D visualization of the terminal. The entire equipment and all vehicles such as straddle carriers, RTGs, ASCs, trucks, cranes but also lighting or barriers can be connected to the system via sensors. So also non-operational assets can be integrated into the terminal 3D view. Standardized TIC 4.0 based messages are used #wetalktic.
From exact reality to better planning and analysis.
CHESSCON Live View not only provides a real-time 3D overview that can be viewed from all sides. In it, users can also click on individual devices and vehicles to display dashboards with details. For example, users can view battery status, productivity or efficiency level highlighted in color. . This in the further development of the live view allows an in-live comparism from the process (TOS based → as it is planned to be) and the reality (IoT sensor based → as it actually is). This layer will add an enormous benefit to the view merging the process with the true reality for the terminal to take better decision.
